If you are planning to go a on a road trip, take the time to plan it out, at least a little bit. You should always have a few things to do on the way to your destination, especially if it is far away, to give yourself an excuse to stretch your legs and to catch a few sights that are picture-worthy for your album. You should also plan for things being closed for maintenance or whatever other reason, and basically have a plan B. Do not let a few unplanned occurrences ruin your fun. Be sure to take time to take the road less traveled and take a scenic road or two and really enjoy your road trip. Be sure to check that your insurance and registration is current and that you check your fluid and tires before you even leave your driveway. Bring an emergency roadside kit, too.
